PELUM Ethiopia organized practical training on Soil Fertility and Health enhancement practices, Agroforestry, and Plant Protection, during the training, 20(4F) farmers, focal persons, Development Agents and Religious persons participated, representing religious institutions and the surrounding kebele communities located in Assebot and Adulala.
The two day training was held on 06th and 7th June, 2022 in Lode Hitosa woreda of Arsi zone and aimed to enhance the capacity of participants in implementing different agro-ecological practices at their respective areas. In addition to practical sessions, the training program also provided an opportunity for the participants to gain ample experience on how to establish strong community learning group.
The training was financially supported by EOC-DICAC through the project called” Sustainable Church Forest Management”.
