PELUM Ethiopia Consortium organized a practical training and experience sharing for project target beneficiaries from Abramo and Megele 33 Kebeles of Assosa Zuria Woreda. The selected four beneficiaries are who introduced and planted pineapple in their own farms three months ago. The practical training and experience sharing visit which is conducted starting from 27-30 December, 2020 focuses; on the management of pineapple; plantation techniques and cultural practice of coffee; biogas technology and visiting aromatic and medicinal plants.
The objective of the practical training and experience sharing was to enhance knowledge and skills of the participants. In addition to that; to diversify the agro-ecological practices after they get back to their home area. It was organized for four days help them to grasp a lot of knowledge on the whole management and cultural practice of pineapple and coffee, get clue on biogas technology which is not implemented in their area plus they could also share knowledge that they have on the medicinal plants.
